the path to filmmaking wasn’t scientific for me
i was first introduced to it while living in Alaska,
where i was tasked with filming the oral histories
of Native Alaskan Tribal Elders
i could not have known then where such experience
would lead me or how it would continue to shape me
since then, I follow the work of story around as naturally,
intuitively and as unobtrusively as i am able
